So, I will never be a sports videographer. But at least I captured his hit on video. What I didn't capture would be the 100 degree sauna we were watching the game in, the dust collecting between my sandals and my feet, and Merritt drawing in the dirt and climbing the fence like Spiderman. Yes, it's baseball season. We are up to our ears in equipment, baseball cards, baseball hats, and quotable baseball facts. And MLB network, which has saved this mommy more than once mid-afternoon, when the thermometer reached over 100 and there was "nothing to do." I do love Gavin's sports obsessions, though. He lives and breathes baseball right now, but pretty soon lacrosse practices will be starting again...
