after the storm

We spent the entire day waiting for the storm. Lacrosse was cancelled, I didn't get to run, and it never even stormed until the kids went down for their naps. Needless to say, I was (am) feeling a little nutty. Fast forward to post-nap crazies, and we were putting our boots on and heading out to the little drainage ditch (although I prefer to call it a stream when my children are frolicking in it...) to do some splashing around and exploring. You can probably guess where that led to. One step into that stream, and it was bye-bye dry clothes and boots, hello yet another load of laundry. But it's right where little boys should be, don't you agree?!
