I know it is summer when...

...I have a tan from the waist up from standing in the pool monitoring the boys while they swim.

...significant portions of our meals came from our garden (mixed greens as our salad and fresh basil on our bruschetta tonight!).

...I find myself saying, "The boys don't need a bath tonight...we went to the pool!"
