Yup, it's almost here. Despite that I am sitting in a sunbeam with the air conditioning cranked up (it is, after all, in the 80s here still...) there is a hint of fall in the air. Barely.
But the festivities and imaginations are getting fired up! Because of the upcoming move (did I just say move?...more to come on that later for you few who may not know...) we abandoned the Halloween movie party this year. I am just a tad bit overwhelmed. No worries, though, my children are not being deprived of fun and sugar, and this post will prove it.
Exhibit A: Mr. Potato Head pumpkins...

[mommy confession...they were just so much easier than carving...]
Exhibit B: Even Ian got to pick out a pumpkin...

Exhibit C: Halloween Parades at school (which happened to be both today, at different times, thank goodness)...

[FYI: Daddy may as well be dressed as Superman this year, because he is the hero who spent HOURS the past 2 nights making Buzz Lightyear's wings.]
In a few days, there will be trick-or-treating, and hopefully the weather will be cooled off enough for Ian to take his turn in the cow costume (he was half a cow today for the parades.) Rest assured, there will be pictures to share, Grandmas and Grandpas!
