No, I didn't fast forward through the summer. This picture was taken a couple weeks ago, when Merritt's teacher invited Ian to come and spend the day at school with M. That morning, I had to get a shot of all three boys with their backpacks, as this was the only day I was able to walk all three to the same school. After all, G is in middle school next year! It was such a special day, and Ian came home exhausted but happy!
