Merritt and Ian's room always lacked a little something. And now that Merritt has homework every night, it became very clear that he needed to have his own space to sit and do his work. And since Ian will eventually have homework every night and loves to have his own space now, we decided to make a trek to IKEA and complete their bedroom with new desks, red chairs, a rug, and a new light. Their room feels perfect now. They love it and it is a wonderful space to create and relax. Homework was successfully completed today at their new desks. And their room is now officially 99.99% IKEA. Literally. Short of the toys/books and the birds on the wire decal on the wall, the rest is all IKEA. Or as a friend described it, my happy place.

Love the room and especially the red bookcase!! Is that IkEA as well? Is that the Billy or Expedit? Let me know, we're looking for one for Shepherd & Rock's room!
