Happy Mommy Day!

The boys and I are having a nice Mother's Day . . . we headed to church and then to Elmo's for breakfast. When we got in the car after eating out, I said, "Thank you Gavin and Merritt for being such great boys for mommy in Elmo's! What a great present to mommy!" and Gavin replied, "Yeah, I whispered to Merritt before we went in that we had to be good!" 

Check out the very creative and thoughtful gift Gavin brought home from school for me. The only thing that would make the day better would be to have David here, too (as Gavin keeps reminding me nearly every time we do something fun), but he is doing his second-to-last moonlighting gig in Greenville. He did spoil me with a fantastic Mother's Day gift, though, by surprising me with a cool little facial gadget that they use at my favorite spa. Luxury! 

Thank you, all my boys, for making Mommy's Day great (and for everyone who seemed to know exactly when to stop in, have us over, or keep Gavin busy for me this weekend - I definitely appreciated it!)!
