Last night we had a Halloween Movie Party outside. The weather cooled down just in time to get everyone in the mood for costumes, junk food, and the main features: "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" (cartoon, Bing Crosby version). It was a blast to have all that excited energy around and to truly feel like fall is here.
Here are my masked men. . .
. . .and my Princess Leia. . .
Princess Leia preventing the little cow from igniting with the luminaries. He was not only intrigued by them, but also quite flammable. Good thing Princess Leia protected him from the evil forces.
It was at about this moment that we realized that almost every kid was armed with some sort of weapon. . .
A picture of most of the little ghosts and goblins (more accurately, pirates and Star Wars maniacs!)
Here is Gavin's Darth Vader pumpkin - he drew it himself and David had the pleasure of carving it. I think they both did great.
With a few hours left before our party, I opted for the easy route and took the drill to my pumpkin!!!
