Which we knew already, but got to celebrate last week at school. His classroom is the 'Frog' classroom. So on his special day he got to wear the frog hat and act like a big shot. Gavin, Ian, and I visited and ate lunch with him, and he requested to bring root beer for all his classmates, which was quite a hit. We also brought oatmeal craisin cookies in for everyone, as that is his current favorite cookie. It was a fun afternoon.
Merritt also chose Gavin to read his chosen from home books to the class. And Gavin happily delivered (of course - any chance to be in the spotlight...where in the world does that come from?!).
My favorite frog.
