Florida Vacation - Post 4 - Hollywood Studios photo dump

I'll spare you all the pictures, but Hollywood Studios was a wonderful surprise to us - we actually ended up spending 2 of our 4 days at Disney there. There are some really fun rides, and the boys couldn't get enough of the shows. The Indiana Jones stunt spectacular seemed to have the most impact. In fact, when we returned to NC, the boys jumped out of the van and ran to the backyard, only to again be seen when we called them in for dinner! They like to 're-enact' the scenes we saw. There are a lot of sticks now in the backyard and rope is hanging on the play structure. Ian's yellow boot was the sought-after idol.
It's pretty awesome.

Ian really hung in there - through all the special effects we saw during those 2 days, plus the intense scenes and noises. When we were on the Backlot Tour, they drive you into a 'canyon', and millions of gallons of water rush at you and a tanker explodes about 20 feet from the tram. His comment after it was over? "Well, that wasn't a good sign!"
Highlights were the Star Wars ride, Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, and Gavin's favorite - the Rockin' Roller Coaster. A very special last minute discovery was an animation class that David took Gav and Merritt to. They all got to sit at their own light box and take instruction from a Disney artist.
Here are their Minnie Mouse drawings, now hanging proudly on our wall. David's is on the left, Gav's is in the middle, and Merritt's is on the right.
