Our Annapolis and Baltimore adventure

Over Father's Day weekend, we traveled up to Annapolis for one of Gavin's lacrosse tournaments. The team did great! Undefeated on Saturday and made it to their second game on Sunday! We love watching these boys play together.

Merritt and Ian are such rock stars at G's tournaments. M has earned the nickname 'Scoreboard' because of his intense and accurate clipboard scorekeeping during games. Ian generally loves to hang out and be one of the boys. He takes his role very seriously.

After Saturday's games, we were feeling very ambitious and drove up to Baltimore for the afternoon/evening. We experienced the Inner Harbor and spent hours in the Aquarium, which was FABULOUS.
After being in awe at the aquarium, we caught a water taxi around the Inner Harbor to the Rusty Scupper. The boys had been talking about eating crab ALL WEEK leading up to the trip, so we were all psyched to have a nice early Father's Day meal together overlooking the harbor. We had calamari, crab cakes, and salmon. I am just now realizing the irony of looking at sea life all day and eating it all evening...
After dinner I took advantage of very full bellies and tired boys to grab some pictures while we waited for the water taxi to take us back to our starting point...
