Backyard Wildlife.

This past week has been like a National Geographic special around here. . .apparently when the weather gets too hot to exist, all the scary animals emerge (well, not all are scary, 

but all are definitely at least a little odd. . .) 

Fence lizard.

Orb spider.

Praying mantis.

3 foot long black rat snake (yes in our backyard, about 20 feet from the sandbox).

Chair monkey.

My neighbor Alison is quite relieved that all the wildlife is in our backyard, so surely no scary animals are in her's. . .
