Easter weekend was a busy one, and Easter day was no exception! We started off with Easter baskets, of course. . .and pictures of the happy bleary-eyed boys in their PJs checking out their loot.
Then, it was off to church. The boys were super cute posing together. Merritt really loves his big brother, and you can tell by these pics that Gavin loves being the big brother!
They were so sweet in their handsome outfits, holding flowers for the cross.
After a happy Easter sermon, we came home to a family breakfast and then headed to spend Easter afternoon with Brenda at her friends Susan and Alan's house. The weather was perfect and the boys loved being outside. Of course, mommy and daddy loved the good food and good company, and seeing the boys run free in the country.
And if you know Gavin, and especially if you recall his impromptu swim in Harris Lake last Easter, then the following pictures will not surprise you one bit. Apparently this is becoming a tradition. The only difference is that this year, I packed an extra set of clothes.
