Or, at least 11 eggs and the kitchen table.
Easter egg coloring falls into the category of 'obligate family activities' for me. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy it and I know the boys enjoy it. It's just that it's really messy. And Merritt isn't at the age where he really. . .gets it. But, we pressed onward because someday I will be able to sit back with a glass of wine and watch all my boys color me Easter Eggs (and then maybe help me clean up the mess??), and it will become the memory making, laughter producing, creative outlet, perhaps slightly competitive activity that it was in David's house growing up.
