With 3 boys in the house, it is pretty doubtful that 'peace' is something that will resonate throughout our household this Christmas Eve. Even during the moments where no one is fighting or whining or even screaching with delight, there are chores to do, the dog to let out, the phone to answer, the presents to still wrap . . .but I am wishing myself and each of you a day of peace, however you may find it, this Christmas Eve. . .I doubt Mary herself felt a lot of peace on the Eve of Christmas on the back of a donkey, in labor (unless her labor was quite unlike mine...). So, whatever you are feeling today, be it stress, pain, lack of patience, fatigue, my Christmas Eve wish for you is that you can feel the impending Peace and Hope that tomorrow will bring. And in each moment of craziness (and trust me, those moments are more prevalent than not here in the Schulz casa) you can be thankful that hey, at least we are here and living this craziness together!
Peace (however it looks to you!)
and love (and the promise of a Christmas post tomorrow, Grandparents...)!
