I cannot believe my oldest baby is 10 years old! A decade! What?!
He woke up excited about his birthday and also about his second day at middle school.
He opened presents before dinner...
...fist bump to the brothers for a cool lego set...
...and probably the most favorite gift, the Swiss Army knife (ugh, stayed tuned for blog posts about stitches...).
For dinner, Gav requested that David make crab cakes, sauteed mushrooms, steamed asparagus, and cheesy mashed potatoes. Oh, and don't forget the olives. For dessert, key lime pie and banana pudding dessert. Yum!
Daddy did an amazingly off key and dramatic rendition of 'Happy Birthday.'
It was awesome and the boys shrieked with delight.
