A special visit

Grandma and Grandpa Bud came for a visit that was long-awaited and went far too quickly. While they were here, they attended Ian's Grandparents Day at school...

 …watched Merritt and Gavin play lacrosse (and also caught Merritt and Ian playing soccer!) and went to Gavin's Science Night at school. Doesn't Merritt look great in this picture?! He is small but he is fast and turns on a dime, which amazes me because he is the world's SLOWEST walker. And check out his hair in the back…he is super proud of his 'flow'!

 Despite our busy days (we also took them to a Durham Bull's baseball game!) the boys also had some sweet times at home hanging out, building legos and playing board games, and enjoying the sunshine.

We also…had Christmas! Because of their crummy weather in Michigan, they never made it down for the Holidays. It was fun to open the Christmas box in May!
