Over Memorial Day, some very generous friends invited us to their beach house for some R & R. Unfortunately, David had to work, but they insisted it would be fine for the boys and I to still come out to Wrightsville Beach for the weekend. I am so glad that I took them up on the offer. We were in some serious need of sun, sand, and relaxing. We came back refreshed and excited to face the remaining school days, all the while looking forward to summer. And with just a bit of sand remaining in our hair.
This picture is a split second before Gavin boogie-boarded into Ian and Ian rode the rest of the wave sitting on the front of Gavin's board. Couldn't re-enact it if we tried.
