Gavin started basketball at the YMCA tonight. He told me before we left that I could probably just watch him on TV (because Mom, they play basketball on TV. . .). We had a little reality-check about the boys playing basketball on TV (honey, they have practiced A LOT. . .)
He is on a team with his school friends, so you can imagine the level of excitement he was starting out with. To no surprise, he had a great time and that level of excitement was maintained all the way through practice and all the way home. But, of course, he knows everything about basketball and is already good (not my words. . .).

Doing drills! Not bad! And his clothes make him look super cool.
Merritt even had a great time chasing balls around the edge of the court.
First game is January 24th - check the TV schedule to find out the time!
