Christmas in Ohio

On Saturday, we made the 8 hour trek to Ohio to celebrate Christmas with my (Sarah's) side of the family. Thankfully, the boys are pretty tolerant travelers, as we headed back to NC on Monday. The kids had a grand time playing with their cousins and getting spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa Santa. With 12 adults and 11 grand kids running around the house, you can imagine the excitement that ensued when it was time to unwrap presents!

My brother Mark and sister Deb think Merritt is pretty tasty, too!

I wonder what fraction of time the UNWRAPPING took compared to the WRAPPING.

Merritt with one of his presents! This was pretty much the look he had on his face the whole evening (a little overwhelmed, maybe??).

Gav digging his camper. I must say, it is quite cool.

Cousin Ashley scored on this gift for Gavin. . .do you think he is happy??

My mom is the scarf queen, crocheting all the daughters and granddaughters scarves. Wow!

Here are Grandma and Grandpa with the grandchildren. I think everyone was actually smiling in this pic, except Merritt, who was beyond overwhelmed at that point.

In my opinion, I received the coveted gift that night. My brother Mark MADE this for me. Isn't it gorgeous??!!
