Merry Christmas!

7:15 am. All is calm, all is bright.
But not for long. Feet heard on the stairs at 7:20…and squeals of delight immediately followed. We stalled a bit, to let daddy catch up on needed zzzz's - he barely beat Santa here, arriving home from work at 2:15 this morning!

They are smiling because it is almost time to wake daddy up!!!

Smiles and Cheer!

Even big boys need toys once in a while (more like self-defense, since there were 3 more of those under the tree…).

Look! I exist! Ian had just told me I was the best mommy he has ever had. Hmmm.
Present highlights:
Gavin - Kindle Fire HD, hatchet (yes, you read that correctly), nerf shooters (I still refuse to call them guns)
Merritt - skateboard, legos, matchbox racetrack, nerf shooters
Ian - skateboard, magna tiles, legos

We also accumulated some great movies, books, and action figures, to name a few other things. Funny how it took so long to wrap, and yet how blindingly fast the wrapping paper became little unwrapped bits on the floor. Ah, Christmas morning.

Merry Christmas everyone! Thank you for taking the time to follow our little blog!
May your day remain Merry and Bright!
