"thrifty": saving $25 plus tip on Merritt's haircut by doing it myself (end result - picture an amish Dorothy Hamill wedge cut, but really cute, because it's Merritt). . .then buying a dress for myself at Old Navy for the same amount.
(OK, I admit it, I bought the dress first and then came home and got out the scissors. . .)
