Scenes from our Sunny Days

We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Bud! We played a ton of baseball in the backyard, and Gav really enjoyed taking them to a Durham Bulls game, as well as picking their brains for every bit of baseball knowledge they have (which he is now teaching me, constantly). We also spent a good deal of time at the pool trying to pretend that it isn't really already in the 90's here. With all the snuggles, reading, baseball playing, and swimming, the time with them went entirely too quickly. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed it all, too, including the yummy food we always manage to consume with them (I wonder what the rich people are eating
tonight. . .?).

As I type this, they should be arriving back in Michigan, and no doubt, they will sleep well tonight!!!!

Crazy baseball players.

Merritt looking very David-like, circa 1979.

The fish is back, gills and all this year!

We have successfully managed to achieve maximum flotation support with Merritt, and he enjoys paddling around, climbing the ladder. . .
. . .and jumping off the side!

Future Olympian?

Thank you for visiting, Grandma and Grandpa Bud!!
