Gav's Philadelphia Tournament

Last weekend Gavin had his last tournament of the season, north of Philadelphia. We all traveled up there for the adventure and to cheer on the team! This team is made up of some really great kids, and their families have been such a pleasure to be on the sidelines with. There were tears at the end, because we were so proud of our boys and their big, big hearts, and our boys were so very sad that it was ending. They won all their games but lost in the championship game to the top U9 team in the country - what a terrific experience!
Here is a picture of Gav with his dog tag buddies - the coaches had dog tags made for each of the boys, and they all wore each other's during the games and then gave them to the owner at the end.

 Ready for action!

Taking a break after day 1 of the tournament, eating lunch in New Jersey and then walking across the Delaware River for frozen yogurt in Pennsylvania!

The Carolina Cannons!

Buddies after the game.

Gavin and his fabulous coaches! What a great season!
