Tonight was Gav's last lacrosse practice of the season. It was a fun night of scrimmage, measuring the speed of their shots, and ice cream sandwiches. And best of all, Duke's CJ Costabile visited the team and gave them a few pointers. Awesome. I wanted to tell him that Gav got teary when he scored the winning goal for Duke in last year's final game of the NCAA championship. But then I realized that was me. So instead I stood weak-kneed and took a picture of my over-the-moon 7 year old, crushing on his LAX hero. I am going to buy a frame tomorrow.
The picture might eventually make it up to Gav's room.
