Last weekend, David held down the fort while I escaped with 3 friends to the beach for 48 hours. 48 HOURS!! We stayed at my friend Melissa's fabulous beach house and celebrated our friend Kim's little baby girl, who is due in August. It was relaxing, refreshing, happy, and so EASY. No packing snacks for the beach, coordinating activities around naps, worrying about restaurant wait times...we ate, we laughed, we played cards, we ran. Sigh. So fun.
